Learn with CAM
Here at Community Access Media, we teach people how to produce a variety of media content, we lend our equipment, facility, and expertise, and we put their programs on Channel 1021 on Spectrum, Channel 2 on VNET Fiber TV, Apple TV and Roku Apps, and online at camerie.org.

After attending an orientation, members have the opportunity to gain experience in many ways. We offer classes, workshops, and seminars to enhance your production skills.

Members can also practice their skills at summer festivals such as Celebrate Erie and Erie's Blues & Jazz Festival. Community Access Media also hosts political forums and various events throughout the year in our Production Studio.

Classes Offered
HD Video Training Course
Learn all about how an HD Studio operates. At our HD Studio Training course, you learn what goes on behind the scenes of a production, how to operate studio cameras, lighting, and audio. ​
DSLR Fundamentals
New to DSLR cameras? Join us and discover the fundamentals of how to use a DSLR camera, learn camera settings, and prepare for a shoot, so you're ready to take the perfect shot. (*$15 class fee)​
Green Screen Technology
This course will provide you with a step-by-step guide of using Green Screen technology to enhance your video productions.
Field Training
This class will discuss using our HD Field Cameras to create enhanced programming. A complete step-by-step instruction on the features and functions of our Field Cameras and audio equipment. (*$15 class fee)​
Podcast Training
Do you have what it takes to host your podcast? Explore the do's and don’ts of getting a podcast off the ground and learn how to set up the recording studio in the CAM podcast booth.
