What equipment is in the studio? 

Our audio studio is packed with equipment to make any recording crystal clear! Check out the equipment below: 

  • MXL V67G Condenser Microphones with stands 

  • Microphone Isolation Chamber

  • Mackie Onyx 24 Channel Analog mixer 

  • Focusrite Scarlett 18i20 Audio Interface

Is the audio studio sound proofed?

Each wall is filled with sound absorbtion material to ensure minimal audio interference during recordings. In addition, the ceiling has been insulated with sound absorbing material and audio panels are place throughout the room. 

Can I edit my audio in the audio studio? 

Absoluetly! CAM's audio studio is equipped with mutliple audio recording softwares including; 

  • Adobe Audtion 

  • Reaper 

  • OBS Wave 

Does my whole group have to take the class before using the space? 

Nope! Only one member of a group is required to take the class, but that indivdual must attend all sessions with the group. If multiple members of a group would like to take the class, we are glad to accomodate group training. 

Can non-members use the aduio studio?

Non-members can use the space at a higher cost per hour. CAM Members pay $35 per hour, while non-members pay $65. Non-memebrs are required to sign a libility wavier recognizing that any damges are the lability of the indivdual making the reservation. 

Can CAM staff help me record? 

CAM staff are avalible to provide minor techincial assistance. Should you like to have a CAM staff member in studio to act as a producer/sound engineer, an extra $25 per hour will added to your reservation cost. 

When is the audio studio open? 

The audio studio is open during normal CAM hours, and reservations are made on a first come first serve basis. CAM does enforce reservation policies which follow below.

  • No artist or group may reserve the space for more then two sessions per week. 

  • Reservations are limited to 2 hours unless otherwise approved. 

  • Artists must clean up any trash left or a $25 cleaning chrage will be billed to their account.
